A few weeks ago, Ash and myself were lucky enough to be invited to have dinner at Nobu.
I have been meaning to dine at Nobu for quite sometime now, but have been slightly frightened (thus put off) by some of their prices. However, after having experienced a few of their top dishes, Ash and I can honestly say that it was one of our best dinners to date and we are already planning our next dinner date there soon.
We were treated to some of Nobu’s main signiture dishes and I cant even begin to describe how absolutely divine they all were.
My favourite was the spinach and lobster salad dressed in a Parmesan, truffle and dried Miso Asian dressing! It was out of this world and I dont think I have ever tasted a salad as good as that in my entire life. Seriosuly!! I have been dreaming of it ever since and cant wait to have it again.
My top three dishes were Baby spinach salad with dried miso and lobster, new style salmon sashimi and prawn tempura (rock shrimp style) with 3 dipping sauces. We ended off the evening with some coffees and a delightful chocolate Bento box, filled with an assortment of miniture desserts, my favourite being – the chocolate fondant with green tea ice cream!
